We’ve worked hard the last two months to evolve our healthcare model to address each new challenge presented by COVID-19. We’re proud to say that we managed to keep our pharmacy open during the shutdown, and we are now implementing telemedicine appointments.
However, like many local non-profits, we’ve had to cancel multiple fundraisers. So we’re getting creative!
We’re hosting our first Virtual Fun Run on June 7 – June 13. It’s simple!

- We mail you your MLK Race Bib.
- Snap a picture of you wearing the race bib while out running.
- Email that picture to [email protected] for online sharing.*
- We enter you into a drawing to win 1 of 5 $100 gift cards to local restaurants!
Proceeds from the race will support our mission to provide quality healthcare and pharmacy services to uninsured and underinsured adults in NWLA.
Runners have a chance to win a $100 gift card to Pepito’s & Co, Marilynn’s Place, Abbey Singer’s Bistro, Sushi Gen, or Ki’ Mexico.
This Virtual Fun Run is a great way to give back, stay active, and support local businesses. We hope to “see” you out running June 7 -13.
