We Teamed up with Kendra Scott

MLK Health Center teamed up with Kendra Scott – Shreveport on July 25th to raise money for our Women’s Health Program. As we shared back in March, our Women’s Health Program took a big financial hit when two major funders shifted their national funding strategy and decided to no longer fund screening mammograms.

Thank you to our community that showed up for us at Kendra Scott. We were able to raise $900 for our Women’s Health Program. For every $50 raised, one uninsured woman in our community will be guaranteed her annual mammogram.
